BOISE, Idaho (AP) - The Idaho Food Bank collected nearly 1,200 pounds of food from the annual Speed to Feed Idaho run.
The event on Saturday hosted by the Boise State Health and Human Performance Club included distances of 10 and 5 kilometers for both walkers and runners.
Race Director Zachary Pope tells KTVB-TV (http://bit.ly/Ym0e03) that the race brings in food at a time when the Idaho Foodbank's shelves tend to go empty faster.
