Sitting Next To Pretty Woman For a 5-Hour Flight Almost Kills A Man

Posted: Updated:

MSN.COM - If you've ever wondered how far a man will go to save face in front of a pretty woman, we know now: possibly until he dies. A 40-year-man found himself with a comely seatmate on a five-hour flight between the Chinese cities of Fuzhou and Harbin. Unfortunately, the man was carrying a few extra pounds, and he made it his mission to remain seated throughout the flight, so as to avoid startling her with his beer belly. He also declined to drink anything, in order to avoid trips to the men's room. Unfortunately, sitting still for that long and not drinking any liquid is basically the recipe for deep-vein thrombosis, a potentially deadly ailment. He was hospitalized for it immediately upon landing.
