SPOKANE, WASH. --- 20 year old Henry Issacson is in the Spokane County Jail tonight charged with 11 possible felonies, seven counts of child molestation and four counts of child rape.
Wednesday he made his first appearance in court and also entered a not guilty plea for all eleven counts. There was no public record available on this story as of now, but according to the victim's family they now believe this had been going on for four to five years. They just learned of it in August of 2012. In August they immediately reported it to police, but today the man we spoke with said he is disappointed it took seven months to make an arrest. He said he is not mad at the police, but he's mad about the lack of resources police have been given.
The Spokane Police told us today that this is not a resources issue or a problem with their caseload. The police say that they were actually waiting on information and evidence from the victims' family. The time delay also had to do with the fact that there were multiple victims, and because there were multiple victims that took them more time to gather the information to properly investigate and put the right person behind bars.
Issacson's trial is set for May 6th. The judge set his bond at $100,000.
