Man Accused Of Trying To Nab Girl While Naked

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Police say a 50-year-old Billings man tried to take an 11-year-old girl outside her home while he was naked.

Court records say Billings police first received a 911 call on Feb. 10 of a naked man in a park. Forty minutes later, a woman reported a naked man had chased her niece from the outside girl's home.

Three days later, the girl's mother called police to report a naked man had approached their house.

The Billings Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/WjOdwN) responding officers found Douglas Keith Winkler in a truck with his pants around his ankles.

He was charged Thursday with attempted sexual assault, an alternative charge of assault on a minor, two counts of indecent exposure, plus DUI, obstructing and resisting arrest.

Judge Larry Herman set bond at $100,000.

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - They say one of the hardest things to do is to forgive. But that's exactly what Danielle Williams has done. Last week, the mother of three was getting ready for work when she was surprised by her daughter. Sometime overnight, someone shattered her passenger side window outside her Spokane Valley home. Amazingly, whoever broke the window, didn't steal a single thing.

CHICAGO (AP) - There's new guidance to help family doctors do a better job of diagnosing mental decline and dementia.  A panel of Alzheimer's disease experts on Sunday issued guidelines aiming to get help sooner for people whose minds are slipping, even if there's no cure. Surveys and anecdotal reports show many people with symptoms don't get checked and some aren't told when a problem is found.
