UPDATE: On Tuesday morning authorities say an 84-year-old woman who was possibly disorientated was driving west on 12th and hit a set of mailboxes and then ran a stop sign at McDonald. She was then t-boned by a Chevy Blazer headed northbound on McDonald. The driver of the Blazer ended up in a yard of a home on the northeast corner of 12 & McDonald after hitting a tree.

The 84-year-old driver continued west on 12th after being struck and then turned around at Pines and finally stopped at 12th and Woodlawn after her car began smoking and almost caught on fire.

Both drivers were transported to the hospital. Police don't anticipate issuing any citations to either driver. If we learn any more details we'll post them.
