Fever will visit Texas where the coaches have history

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, Wash. -- Friday evening the Tri-Cities Fever will battle the Texas Revolution. The Fever's record is 1-1. Texas is 0-2. Tri-Cities comes off an impressive win in its home opener over Nebraska on SWX. Now Tri-Cities looks to keep up with the momentum gained. It should be a great chess match as coaches from both sides used to work together.

"Well they're a scary team because they have a lot of talent and they haven't won a game yet. They've played on the road twice. Two tough places as well. But they have their first home game. So I'm sure they're excited about that. I know Coach (Billy) Back personally," Fever head coach Adam Shackleford said.

"We know they like zone defensively. They play similar coverages to what we saw last week against Nebraska. So in zone we got to be smart. Quarterback has to be smart and receivers have to be smart to find holes in the zone," Fever quarterback Kasey Peters added.

One of the exciting parts about the indoor football game is the amount of scoring. But that was not the case on Saturday. The Tri-Cities Fever held the Wyoming Cavalry to a defensive season best, 16 points.
