Tri-Cities Fever Can't Wait Until 2nd Half for Offense

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Tri-Cities Fever also had a hard time on the road this weekend, losing to the Texas Revolution 40-37.The fever started slow, not scoring a touchdown until the third quarter. Texas also disrupted quarterback Kasey Peters who threw four interceptions and only complete 46 percent of his passes. A rematch between the two teams is here this Friday. Still the Fever know you can't start slow on the road.

"Second half we played better, defensively I though we played pretty solid throughout the night, offensively we completely dropped the ball. We can't wait to the fourth quarter to score points and try to catch up," said Adam Shackleford, Fever head coach.

"Road games you have to start off early and have to hit them hard and fast, so I think that was our downfall we just didn't start off as well as we wanted to," added Brandon Rankin, Fever defensive lineman.

"We showed a little bit in the second half what we can do when we really get on the same page, but it's just about consistency," said Ed Berry, Fever receiver.
