Woman Stabbed In North Spokane; Victim's Husband Arrested For Helping Suspect Hide From Police

Spokane Police Department Press Release:

Spokane Police responded to a report of a stabbing at around 6:00 on Sunday morning at a four-plex at 2000 N. Lincoln. One resident was having a loud party and another resident and his wife confronted in an effort to get them to quiet down. An apparent guest of the party house stabbed the wife/victim twice and fled. When patrol arrived, they were unable to contact anyone at the party address and believe it likely that not only the guests fled, but the residents.

Through follow up investigation by Ofc. Cole, K. Gately, & Coleman, they were able to develop information that lead to the arrest of Shanda F. White 5/4/92 for 1st assault at about 3:30 Sunday afternoon.   The investigation also revealed that the stabbing victim's husband (Shane B. Holestine 5/10/85) was directly involved in helping White hide from police; the investigation showed that he lied and misled officers during their attempt to identify and locate the suspect.  He was arrested for Rendering Criminal Assistance 1st Degree.
