A fire destroyed two semi trucks in Spokane Valley Saturday afternoon.
The Spokane Valley Fire Department responded to the fire at 12:30 at 1921 Park Road. Fire officials say there was burning fuel running along the ground next to the flaming trucks. It took about 20 minutes to control the flames. Between the damage to the vehicles and the grain trailers attached to them, the fire could cost as much as $350,000.
Fire officials say that they think the fire started in the battery/hydraulic area of one of the truck, and then spread to the other. The cause is still under investigation.
