CONNELL, Wash. - There are hot streaks and then there's Ashley Thompson's level. The senior from Connell threw her sixth straight no-hitter Friday against Kiona-Benton. She also has three perfect games during that streak. According to maxpreps.com the six straight no-no's gives Thompson the state record, while the national record is 10 straight. But Thompson's not thinking too far ahead.

"Yeah I tend to like to not think about those things and then if they come 'oh that was pretty cool.' Like I didn't even realize that I'd gotten 6 until a couple days ago. It's pretty rare and I though that was pretty exciting that I'd be able to do what most people don't get to do."

" Her and Alex, the catcher, do really good calling the games, I haven't had to call any games this year, in fact we didn't call any games last year either."
