UPDATE: Crash On I-90; Person Ejected From Vehicle

UPDATE: The driver fell asleep, according to the Washington State Patrol. The driver is identified as 30-year-old David Richard Rowberry of Spokane. He had two passengers with him: Jennifer Rowberry and Gracie Rowberry. They were all injured. Their injuries are not life-threatening. The vehicle they were in was a 2000 Chrysler Voyager.

UPDATE: The scene is now clear and only minor injuries are being reported. It's still not clear what caused the crash. The crash happened on Wednesday afternoon.

UPDATE: At least 2 people have been transported to the hospital with unknown injuries after a rollover crash on I-90 in the eastbound lanes at the Pines off ramp. At this hour crews are working on clearing the scene. If you're driving in the area be prepared for delays. It's still not clear what caused the crash, as soon as we get more details we'll post them. The two sent to the hospital have not been identified.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Court documents are offering more details about a disturbing case of child abuse in Spokane. Investigators arrested 33-year-old Erik Sherman in the death of his baby Thursday. One doctor who witnessed the abuse told investigators in court documents it was "one of the worst cases of child abuse he had seen in 23 years of practice."

    FREDERICK, Colo. (AP) - A lawyer for a Colorado man suspected in the deaths of his pregnant wife and two young daughters says the daughters' bodies were submerged in crude oil for four days before they were found.  Defense attorney James Merson made the statement in a court motion Friday. The motion asks a judge to order that DNA samples be taken from the children's throats.

    OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash. - The Crescent Mountain fire in Okanogan County continues to sit in the 19,000-20,000 acre range with 34 percent containment. As estimations in size were unclear in Friday's update, Saturday's stated the fire to be at 19,141 acres and 34 percent contained. Friday, the southern edge of the fire advanced on the south side of Snowshoe Ridge toward Eagle Creek.

    SEATTLE (AP) - Seattle police say they're looking for a man caught on surveillance video cutting brake lines on bike-share bicycles in an act that could endanger riders. Police issued a warning Friday and released the video showing a man with a backpack clipping the brake wires on two rental bikes recorded at night on June 14. Police also released photos that appear to show the same man cutting bicycle brake wires a month earlier at another location.
