Fridays Weather Forecast:
 
Today: A few thin clouds to start off the morning but VERY mild temps out there...mostly in the 40s to start off the day. Today looking to be the warmest of the week with highs into the 70s, even 80s for some areas. Winds will start to increase today, coming out of the south 5-15 mph with gusts to 20mph.
 
Tonight: Start to notice an increase in cloud cover but overnight temps will still be mild...once again in the 40s.
 
Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy skies as a cold front starts to approach the area...after the cold front moves through (early afternoon) winds will REALLY start to gust! Sustained winds between 20-30mph with gusts to 40mph! Pretty breezy for the opening weekend of lake fishing...if you can put up with the winds we're still expecting sunny skies for Sunday!

Donavon Culps said he shot victim Cameron Smith "three or four times" after he felt Smith was "disrespectful" to him.

The Washington State Department of Natural Resources said in a news release Tuesday that effective Wednesday, campfires will be allowed in approved fire pits in campgrounds on Washington lands protected by the agency.

The National Hurricane Center in Miami says an Air Force Reserve hurricane hunter plane took the reading Tuesday evening as the storm was about 70 miles (115 kilometers) southeast of St. Croix.
