PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University Police Thursday night arrested 21-year-old Jacob S. Stutesman, a WSU student, for second-degree assault after he allegedly gave a food product to a WSU teaching assistant containing the marijuana substance THC.
Police said the teaching assistant, who unknowingly consumed the doctored food product, was transported to Pullman Regional Hospital for treatment. The female victim, also a WSU student, was subsequently released.
Stutesman, who is from Hoquiam, was taken to the Whitman County Jail following his arrest. The incident remains under investigation.
