KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) - High winds have downed power lines and cut electricity to more than 2,500 people in northwestern Montana.
The Flathead Beacon reports (http://bit.ly/12Vrdpj) the outages Monday afternoon were from Bigfork to Libby. Most were in the West Valley and southeast of Bigfork.
Flathead Electric Cooperative spokeswoman Wendy Ostrom Price says crews are working to get power restored as fast as possible.
Strong winds are expected continue until early Tuesday.
