ELLENSBURG, Wash. (AP) - Ellensburg utility officials are investigating why a wind turbine toppled at the city's Renewable Energy Park.
The Daily Herald reports (http://bit.ly/YmDm7a) the tower buckled Monday when 30 mph winds were blowing with gusts to 45 mph.
Other towers at the wind farm are being checked for structural damage.
