MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - A 55-year-old Missoula man is charged with attempted deliberate homicide after his wife was shot in the face with a small-caliber rifle.
The Missoulian reports (http://bit.ly/10EsYlE) Mark B. Tabish was arrested at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday at his house after his wife drove herself to the emergency room for treatment.
Detective Sgt. Travis Welsh says the investigation continues, but police haven't found anything to indicate it was an accidental shooting.
The 49-year-old woman's injuries do not appear to be life-threatening and she was able to provide officers information about the shooting.
Tabish is scheduled to make an initial appearance in Missoula County Justice Court Tuesday afternoon.
