Fever out of the basement and not looking back

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, Wash. -- Saturday the Tri-Cities Fever visit the Wyoming Cavalry, the only team below the Fever in the Intense Conference. No more basement dwelling for the Fever after a two-game winning streak. Now Tri-Cities is 3-6 on the season. Still a ways to go. The focus remains on winning each game and making the playoffs.

"Well it just feels good to win. I don't think we're at the point of the season to worry about streaks or anything like that. We're completely focused on Wyoming. We didn't play well enough the beginning of the season to worry about those kind of things. Right now it's just about winning and trying to get our way to the championship. That's still a possibility. We have to win one at a time," head coach Adam Shackleford said.
