PREVIOUS STORY:

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Police Major Crimes Unit is investigating a body found Thursday morning in the 200 block of N. Crestline St.

Officers tell us it's too early to say if this could turn into a homicide investigation.

The Medical Examiner's report should reveal more in the next few days.

Investigators were out by the railroad tracks all day where the man's body was found.

They say it looks like a train struck him sometime early this morning.

Employees at nearby businesses tell us they see homeless people walking along the tracks in the area all the time.

We are still waiting for the man's identity to be determined.
