SPOKANE, Wash. - Multiple sources have confirmed that three officers were involved in the May 16th shooting in Nine Mile Falls that killed the suspect in a shooting that happened less than an hour before at Maple and Grace in NW Spokane. The officers involved include Officer Adam Valdez, Officer Dan Lesser and Officer Jake Jensen.

Sources close to Spokane County Sheriff's Office and SPD say two of these officers were involved in past shootings. Adam Valdez was involved in the last Officer Involved Shooting at 8th and Monroe earlier this year. Officer Dan Lesser was involved in fatal shooting at 7th and Hatch in 2011.
