CORVALLIS, Ore. – Andrew Moore tossed a six-hit shutout to lead No. 3 Oregon State past visiting Washington State 4-0 in Pac-12 Conference baseball, Saturday at Goss Stadium.

Moore (12-1) struck out seven and did not walk a man. The Beavers (44-10, 23-6 Pac-12) clinched a share of the Pac-12 title and the conference's automatic berth in the NCAA postseason.

Joe Pistorese (5-5) gave up four runs on 10 hits in 6 2/3 innings for the Cougars (23-31, 9-20 Pac-12). The southpaw struck out three and did not walk a batter.

The Beavers scored the only run they needed in the first on three hits against Pistorese. For the next-five innings, Moore and Pistorese matched goose eggs on the scoreboard.

In the seventh, Oregon State put together back-to-back singles with two outs and Dylan Davis sealed the victory with a three-run home run to cap his four-RBI day.

The rubber game of the series is scheduled for noon, Sunday. It will be the final game of the 2013 season for Washington State.
