Police Searching For Two Suspects In Armed Robbery

PRESS RELEASE FROM SPOKANE POLICE DEPARTMENT:

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police responded to an armed robbery at the Little Caesar's Pizza located off 29th and Regal on the south hill at around 10:30 this evening. SPD Detectives are investigating a possible connection between this armed robbery and other recent armed robberies. Because of the aggressive nature of the armed robbery this evening, anyone with information on this incident or anyone who believes they may have seen the suspects is asked to call 911.

Just before 10:30 pm tonight  Spokane Police received a report of an armed robbery at the Little Caesar's  Pizza 2905 S. Regal St. in Spokane.  Witnesses reported that the suspects entered the restaurant through an unlocked back door and assaulted an employee  (minor injuries) before attempting to take cash and flee the scene.

Suspect descriptions are as follows:
Suspect #1: Light-skinned black male; about 5'09" and medium build.  He was wearing a hoody with his face partially covered.

Suspect #2: Possible Hispanic male; about 5'09" and medium build. He was wearing a hoody with his face partially covered.

Spokane Police quickly responded and attempted to track the suspects with K-9 however that track was unsuccessful.

Spokane Police Forensics Unit is responding to process the scene for evidence.  Additionally, Spokane Police Major Crimes Unit is also responding to the scene.

Businesses open late hours are reminded to keep back entrances locked and to keep and eye out for suspicious persons or vehicles. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call 911.

    SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. - The second person suspected of stealing a purse from a Freeman parent's car during last week's shooting and racking up approximately $36,000 in charges has been arrested. 37-year-old Renee Mann was booked into the Spokane County Jail Tuesday night just before 10:00 p.m. on 13 charges, including Identity Theft, Theft, and Forgery. Mann should be making her first court appearance on Wednesday.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - A man is facing attempted 2nd degree murder charges for shooting at deputies during a traffic stop early Wednesday morning. The incident all happened around 1:30am  near Freya and Day Mount Spokane Road. Deputies say after the man fired shots he took off and there was a short pursuit. The man then stopped his car and took off running.
