TODAY IS THE DAY! KHQ Success By 6 Family Food Drive! Take A Few Minutes To Swing By, Give A Little And Say Hello To The KHQ Team!

KHQ.COM - The day we have all been waiting for is FINALLY here! That's right, the Success By 6 Family Food Drive is happening TODAY!

This is your chance to do a great thing for the community. For many families in the area, summer is a very hard time to keep enough food on the table and food bank shelves run low. No matter how small your donation, every can of food helps.

All day long, we will be accepting donations at locations all over the area including Mead, Airway Heights, Spokane Valley and North Idaho. Not only can you drop off non perishable food items...you can also meet and say hello to you favorite KHQ personality!

CLICK HERE to see a list of all the drop-off locations.

If you are unable to drop off food in person, we will be taking monetary donations all day as well by calling 509-443-1111! Your dollar can be stretched much farther by local food banks. In fact, a family of three can be fed one meal for just 67 cents!

Remember, this is a "Battle Of The Sixes!" so make sure to designate which KHQ personality you would like your donation to count towards.

Who's your favorite?

  • Sean Owsley
  • Shelly Monahan
  • Blake Jensen
  • Matt Rogers
  • Katie Steiner
  • Dan Kleckner
  • Stephanie Vigil
  • Leslie Lowe
  • Kalae Chock
  • Alex Rozier
  • Sam Adams
  • Michelle Dapper
  • Patrick Erickson
  • Dave Law
  • Cristy Aranguiz

If we all did for one person, what we wish we could do for all...think how much better the world would be! So yes, even if all you can give is enough food for one meal...know you are still making a difference in the lives of local people.

A Spokane business owner says enough is enough after finding human feces in front of her doorstep three days in a row. The incidences happened at Neat Old Stuff located at 3rd and Bernard. The shop's owner, CP Phare, has been in the same location for the last decade and says suspicious activity has ramped up in the last year, but nothing like what's been happening over the last few days. "There's like surprise packages usually two-to-three times a week,"
