KENNEWICK, Wash. - Isaiah Thomas brings his talents to the Southridge Sports Complex this weekend. The former Washington Husky, and current Sacramento King, is partnering with the city of Kennewick to put on an Elite Youth basketball camp for boys and girls ages 6 to 16. The camp runs from 9 am to 3 pm and space is still available. Thomas says he just wants to be a positive role model for kids.

"Me walking into the gym, I'm around these kids height. So just telling them that if you want to do something, anything is possible, I mean if you put your mind to it and work very hard at it, you can obtain it," said Isaiah Thomas.  "I just want to put a smile on these kids faces and just show them the fundamentals of the game of basketball. I mean at this camp we don't really play 5-on-5, we kinda play 1-on-1, 2-on-2, 3-on-3 up to 3-on-3."
