SPOKANE, Wash. - Avista and the City of Spokane are trying to give the Huntington Park a makeover. The plan is to spend 2 million dollars on the park.
Huntington Park is 3.8 acres that hugs the river gorge beneath City Hall. Now, the project requires a shoreline development permit…and you can give your comment on that permit by Monday at the Planning Department in City Hall.
Part of the plan includes a new plaza. The plaza would replace a City Hall parking lot and would be the new entry to the park.
