Preview: Huge Showdown For Shock In Desert

Updated:

The Spokane Shock have their biggest game to date tonight in Arizona.

The Shock enter the 6:00 p.m. PST contest (broadcast live on SWX) as the No. 2 ranked team in the AFL. The problem is, the Rattlers are the AFL's No. 1 team. Add in the fact that both teams are in the Western Division and home-field advantage in the playoffs become an issue.

The Shock (9-3) sit two games behind the Rattlers (11-1) and a loss would all but ensure Spokane a wild-card berth into the playoffs. A win, though, puts the Shock just a game back and the tie-breaker with Arizona due to a season sweep (Spokane beat the Rattlers 66-49 on April 12.

Make sure to tune into SWX (Comcast channel 115) to watch the game live.
