UPDATE: Wrong-Way Crash On Hwy. 195 At Cheney Spokane Rd.

UPDATE: The female driver has been identified as Jennifer A. Schmidt of Spokane Valley. The male driver has been identified as Sean D. Moss. Both Schmidt and Moss were life-flighted by Medstar to Sacred Heart. The State Patrol says both vehicles were totaled and both drivers were wearing seatbelts. The crash scene has been cleared and is open to drivers. Schmidt was driving a 1997 Nissan Altima, Moss was driving a 2009 Hyundai Sonata. The crash happened on Tuesday morning.

UPDATE: A male driver has serious injuries, the other driver, who's a female, has life threatening injuries. We're not showing the vehicles involved until next of kin has been notified. Authorities tell our Katie Steiner that the female was driving in the wrong-direction in the southbound lanes on Hwy. 195 when she collided with a male driver. It's not clear at this hour why she was driving in the wrong direction. Investigators will be on scene for the next couple of hours to figure out what happened.

UPDATE: Crews are working on saving at least 2 people right now. 2 Medstar helicopters responded to the scene. The Spokane County Sheriff's Office, The Washington State Patrol and Spokane Fire responded to the scene. At least 20 emergency vehicles responded to the scene.

    Spokane Police responded to a 911 call early Sunday morning after a woman near the TJ Meenach Bridge defended herself from a male attacker. Around 2:30 a.m., the woman reported that 28-year-old Atif Ado accosted her as she walked home. Despite her protests, Ado continued following her and ultimately held her at gunpoint while trying to drag her to a secluded location.

    Spokane, Wash. Starting July 1st, 2018 all standard Washington State ID cards will be marked with "Federal Limits Apply" on the top right corner. The driver's license is still good for driving and standard identification but those three words indicate that the ID is not valid for federal identification purposes. The ID cannot be used to board a plane or enter federal buildings starting October 1st, 2020. The real id act is a federal law, which was passed by congress in 2005...

    SWEDESBORO, N.J. (AP) - People have been flooding a Red Hen restaurant with angry calls and negative reviews since White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was told to leave - but they've got the wrong Red Hen. Restaurant managing partner Elizabeth Pope tells The Philadelphia Inquirer the New Jersey eatery has received at least 600 phone calls from people mistaking it with another similarly named one in Virginia.
