Vancouver Tops Indians In Extras

Updated:

The Vancouver Canadians used a walk-off single in the 12th inning on Tuesday night to beat the Spokane Indians, 5-4.

The Canadians' Jason Leblebijian singled just out of the reach of Indians' outfielder Chris Garia with one out to end the game.

The Indians had taken the 4-3 lead in the top of the ninth, but reliever Josh McElwee blew the save. Richard Alvarez worked 1 1/3 innings for the Indians and was tagged with the loss.

Chris Garia led Spokane at the plate with two hits, a triple and an RBI.
