* Update (5:12 p.m.)

The sun is out and shining at Avista Stadium, with just a few clouds directly over the stadium. Does not appear that the weather will be an issue for this doubleheader.

The Indians are scheduled to play Boise in a doubleheader today. The first game is set for 5:30 p.m. and the second will follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of the initial game. Both contests will be seven-inning affairs broadcast live on SWX (Comcast channel 115).

But the question remains: Will the weather allow the games to go on as scheduled? The reason the doubleheader is scheduled is due to a rainout on Thursday.

KHQ weather guru David Law had this to say on Saturday afternoon:

Saturday's Weather Update: Plan Ahead…Keep the Light Jackets & Umbrellas Handy…Again

It will only be a matter of time before we find out, but with the excellent grounds crew the Indians have, expect the teams to go on as planned, unless the rain starts coming down in droves.
