Thousands of super-athletes are in Coeur d'Alene today swimming, biking and running to call themselves Ironman. They have until midnight to swim 2.4 miles, bike 112 miles , and run a full marathon, 26.2 miles. You can track an athlete competing in Ironman 2013, CLICK HERE

    DENVER - NBC play-by-play man Al Michaels has quickly apologized after making a joke about Harvey Weinstein during "Sunday Night Football." Michaels mused in the middle of the third quarter of the game between the New York Giants and Denver Broncos that the Giants were "coming off a worse week than Harvey Weinstein."

    HOLMES BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Police say a man killed his girlfriend's 17-month-old son and stole her car stereo and laptop while she was in the hospital with her dying child. The Bradenton Herald reports that 31-year-old David Vickers is being held without bail on charges of second-degree murder and aggravated child abuse.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police are searching for the person who used a tractor to try and steal an ATM in NW Spokane.  Details are limited at this time, but Spokane Police tell our report Morgan Marum that the person tried to use the tractor to rip out an ATM at the Washington State Employees Credit Union.

The Kitsap County Sheriff's office on Monday identified the victims as 38-year-old Merle Simpson, his children 2-year-old Madison and 1-year-old Collin, and his 63-year-old mother Vili Simpson.

    SONOMA, Calif. - In the midst of devastation, a miracle is being celebrated at Santa Rosa's Safari West.  The California preserve covers nearly 400 acres of land and houses 1,000 exotic animals. On Friday, Safari West announced the arrival of baby Tubbs, a newborn baby Nile lechwe.
