Past Husky stars returned to Alaska Airlines Arena on the campus of the University of Washington on Sunday for the first ever UW Alumni Game.

Two games played out before a nearly packed house, as well as a 3-point contest and a dunk contest.

Former UW guard Justin Dentmon won the 3-point contest and forward Darnell Gant upset NBA dunk champion Terrence Ross in the dunk contest. Legends such as Chris Welp and Eldridge Recasner played in the old-timers game, but it was the Alumni game that was the main event.

The teams were split into pre-2009 and post-2009. In a close game, it was the post-2009 team that came out victorious with a 107-103 win. Isaiah Thomas was the MVP after scoring a game-high 24 points. Wroten added 19 points and Pondexter had 17 points and six rebounds.

The pre-2009 team was led by 23 points from Tre Simmons. Spencer Hawes had 21 points and 17 rebounds, while Will Conroy had 11 assists.
