Bats Deliver for Dust Devils in Final Game of Road Trip

EUGENE, Wash. -- The eight-game road swing for the Tri-City Dust Devils came to an end Monday night with a 7-5 victory over the Eugene Emeralds. The Dust Devils offense produced at the plate, providing nine hits and giving the team the early lead that they would not relinquish. Starter Sam Moll was sharp in his professional debut, throwing three scoreless innings. Trent Daniel collected the save in what was also the first appearance of his professional career.
The Dust Devils will return home to start a three-game series beginning Tuesday night with the Everett AquaSox. It will be a Social Media Tuesday at Gesa Stadium, presented by Dura-Shine Clean. Southpaw Jayson Aquino will start the first game of the series for the Dust Devils. The AquaSox will counter with right-hander Lars Huijer.
