UPDATE: Woman Who Fell To Death At Post Falls Climbing Area Identified
POST FALLS, Idaho -
UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Megan Christine Mitchell of Post Falls. Next of kin has been notified.
Post Falls Police responded to Q'Emiln Park, Friday night, to a report of a woman who had fallen and was injured. When police arrived they were led to the rock climbing area of the park and found the victim.
It was discovered that the woman had fallen approximately 50 feet onto a rocky surface. Kootenai County Fire and Rescue personnel arrived on scene and began providing medical aid but the victim had sustained major trauma from the fall and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police detective are investigating the incident but do not suspect foul play. Authorities are not releasing the identity of the woman until her family is notified.

Tuesday afternoon the North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force arrested 22-year-old Michael Anthony Sanchez in connection with the robbery of the Dominos Pizza that happened in Hayden back on November 15th.
