UPDATE: The person killed has been identified as 61-year-old Kim Alldredge of Northport, Washington. The Washington State Patrol says that Alldredge was driving northbound on Hwy. 25 when she veered off the road and went down an embankment and crashed into a tree. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
KHQ.COM - The Washington State Patrol has confirmed with KHQ that at least one person has died after their car hit a tree north of Kettle Falls Wednesday morning.
The accident occurred at 5:17 a.m. on Johnson Grade of state Highway 25, about 28 miles north of Kettle Falls. At this hour we're awaiting the identity of the person killed.
