Garcia Delivers Walk-Off Double For Indians

Brandon Garcia delivered a walk-off double in the 12th inning to give the Spokane Indians a 4-3 win over the Eugene Emeralds at Avista Stadium on Friday night.

The Indians have now won six straight games.

With two outs and Kevin Torres -- who had singled with one out -- on first, Garcia turned on a two-strike curveball and hit it off the wall in left-center field. Torres slid home with the winning run well ahead of the throw.

The Indians were quiet offensively through the first four innings and didn't collect a hit until Kevin Torres singled in the fifth.

Alberto Triunfel tied the game in the ninth with a solo home run to left field.

Alex De La Cruz earned the win with two innings of scoreless ball.
