NBA Summer League: Olynyk Shines

Former Gonzaga standout Kelly Olynyk continued his impressive summer league play by scoring 21 points and grabbing nine rebounds in the Boston Celtics 76-74 win over the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday.

Former Bulldog Micah Downs also played, scoring three points on 1-of-4 shooting and collecting three rebounds.

Olynyk, the Celtics' first-round draft pick, went 9-of-19 from the field and 3-of-5 from the free throw line. He also had four assists.

In a separate game, Michael Stockton had seven points in just over eight minutes of play for the Utah Jazz.

Olynyk and the Celtics are back in action tomorrow. Other notable area players that will take the court at the Orlando Summer League tomorrow are Stockton, Kashif Watson (Brooklyn Nets) and Brock Motum (Philadelphia 76ers).
