Thursday: T-Storms from overnight/early morning will break apart this morning and it'll be another sunny day. We're still under a Red Flag Warning, even though it'll be much cooler because winds will still be breezy and humidity will be low. High: 81° (Yellow for Red Flag Warning)

Tonight: Clear skies and a nice night with overnight low temps a little cooler than we've been seeing. Winds look to die down a little bit as well. Low: 52° (Green)

Friday: Start off the day mostly sunny but seeing some more clouds in the afternoon. That could eventually lead to t-storms Friday night over NE Mountains and chance of scattered showers into Saturday morning. High: 80°

PREVIOUS STORY:

PENDLETON, Ore. (AP) - The National Weather Service is warning of a high wildfire danger from Wednesday afternoon to Thursday evening in most of Eastern Washington and parts of eastern Oregon.

Forecasters have issued a red flag warning because of expected breezy winds and low relative humidity.

The warning area covers Ellensburg, Wenatchee, Yakima, Moses Lake, the Tri-Cities, Walla Walla, Pullman and Spokane in Washington; also The Dalles, Hermiston and Pendleton in Oregon.

After months of hype, Northwest braces for solar eclipse

    Sunday, August 20 2017 1:21 PM EDT2017-08-20 17:21:33 GMT

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - After months of hype, it's almost here. The first coast-to-coast total solar eclipse in the United States since 1918 is expected to draw up to a million people to Oregon, where the moon's shadow will first make landfall. Crowds have already begun clogging roadways, campgrounds and hotels for hundreds of miles, and a wildfire has forced evacuations in prime viewing areas.
