UPDATE: 3rd & Final Moses Lake Stabbing Suspect Captured

UPDATE FROM THE GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE: Travis Stotts, the third person suspected of involvement in last week's stabbing incident in the Larson Housing Area, was arrested Sunday night at a Moses Lake home.

Moses Lake Police arrested Stotts around 11 p.m. at a home on Dogwood Street. He surrendered without incident.

Grant County Sheriff Tom Jones credits citizens for their help with providing information to deputies. "Thank you citizens! We really appreciate the your help," said Jones. "The information and tips we receive make a big difference in stopping crime and finding fugitives, and I encourage the public to continue to call or email us with any information they have about any crime."

UPDATE FROM THE GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE: The second of three suspects connected to a Tuesday night stabbing in Moses Lake was arrested Wednesday night.

Victor Mejia was captured at a home in the Larson Housing Area. He is now lodged in the Grant County Youth Services Facility. Citizen tips led deputies to where he was hiding.

Travis Stotts, the third suspect, remains at large. Travis posted a message on the Grant County Sheriff's Facebook page yesterday questioning why he was named in the incident. We replied and suggested he call us to share his side of the story. He has not responded.

UPDATE FROM THE GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE: Moses Lake stabbing suspect Dahndre Westwood was arrested around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at a convenience store near the Larson Housing Area.

Citizens fed deputies information about Westwood's whereabouts and he was captured without incident. He is at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake with what he claims is a stab wound to one of his feet possibly connected to Wednesday night's incident. Once treated, he will be lodged in the Grant County Youth Services Facility for suspicion of first degree assault.

Suspects Travis Stotts and Victor Mejia are still at large.

PRESS FROM THE GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE: MOSES LAKE, Wash. (10JULY2013) - Grant County Sheriff's Detectives are looking for three Moses Lake youth they believe are responsible for stabbing another youth Tuesday night.

Suspect #1: Dahndre Westwood, 14-year-old black male, 5'08", 160 lbs. Photo attached.

Suspect #2: Travis Stotts, 17-year-old white male, 5'05", 160 lbs. Photo attached.

Suspect #3: Victor J. Mejia, 16-year-old Hispanic male, 5'06", 205 lbs. No photo available.

Westwood, Stotts and Mejia were allegedly confronted by three other youth around 11:20 p.m. last night near Arlington Drive and Lowry Drive in the Larson Housing Area north of the city of Moses Lake. During that conflict, a 16-year-old boy was stabbed several times. He underwent surgery at Samaritan Hospital. His present condition is stable.

Sheriff Tom Jones says his deputies and detectives are searching for the three suspects and will not stop until they are caught.

Westwood, Stotts and Mejia should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on their whereabouts should call 9-1-1, or send information to crimetips@co.grant.wa.us. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
