Fever not considering relocation among options for future

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- It is Tri-Cities or bust for the Fever. Owner and general manager Teri Carr is looking for ways to fill more seats. But she admits relocation is not an option. Tri-Cities will be the only place for her football team, just as long as more of the tri-cities can show it wants the fever. This week Carr said she is seriously contemplating the future of the fever.

"We wouldn't consider relocation. The whole reason we have it here is because we are embedded in the Tri-Cities community. We do it because we want it here in Tri-Cities. We felt it was important enough in 2009 when we took it back over to keep it here in Tri-Cities. That's why we are here. Relocating is just not an option. That's not even something I'd consider. It's Tri-Cities or nowhere," Carr said.
