UPDATE: MOSES LAKE, Wash. (11JULY2013) - A bomb threat Thursday morning called into the Grant County International Airport caused the evacuation of the terminal and the lockdown of neighboring schools and offices.

Airport officials received the call about 8:45 a.m. The airport activated its emergency plan and notified the Grant County Sheriff's Office. A cursory walk through search by deputies did not uncover any suspicious materials, and a bomb detection dog and handler from the Grand Coulee Police Department responded. No bombs or suspicious materials were found, and the lockdowns were lifted around 11:15 a.m.

Air traffic was not interrupted. The Grant County Sheriff's Office is investigating.

BREAKING: The Grant County International Airport in Moses Lake received a bomb threat this morning at 8:45am. The airport initiated their emergency plan which included notifying the Grant County Sheriff's Office and neighboring institutions such as Big Bend Community College and Job Corps. BBCC and Job Corp are on lock down as a precaution. The tarmac in front of the main terminal at the airport has been shut down but right now there have been no interruptions to air traffic at the airport.
