Fever owner works with NBC Right Now to get community suggestions

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Friday evening NBC Right Now hosted a live Facebook chat with Fever owner and general manager Teri Carr. She is looking for ways to save the Fever organization, as ticket sales are down. Viewers gave some great responses.

"If possible maybe branching out to be more visible in surrounding communities; we live in Hermiston and I have been interested in having school presentations but can't seem to work schedules out. Several people are unaware of the team in our town," Cori Applegate suggested.

Carr responded to many comments, saying, "Jacob Wolford posted, 'It's too expensive for the average family of four to go.' We talk about that a lot in the office and what is the price that is the right price for families of four. If anybody has ideas on that, I'd love to see posts on that."
