Indians Snap Losing Skid, Top Volcanoes 8-4

Posted: Updated:

Salem, ORE. – The bats finally awoke in Oregon, with the Indians scoring eight runs in seven innings, on the way to a 8-4 victory over Salem-Keizer.

The Indian bats were led by Kevin Torres and Janluis Castro. Both players had a pair of RBI's on the night. Chris Garia, Alberto Triunfel, and  Evan Van Hoosier also helped the Indians by driving in a run.

Sam Wolff gets his third win of the season, moving his ERA to 0.68 after pitching two innings and surrendering just one run.

The win snaps Spokane's three game losing streak, with all three losses coming to the Volcanoes.

The Indians move their record to 16-14 and return home Monday to open up a three game series with the Tri-City Dust Devils.
