Motum Signs With Italian Team

Updated:

Former Washington State standout Brock Motum has signed with Virtus Bologna of the Italian Serie A league. Motum made the announcement via his official Facebook page.

Hoops.com.au is reporting Motum has signed a two-year deal. The Serie A is the highest-ranking Italian league.

Motum went undrafted in the 2013 NBA draft, but signed with the Philadelphia Sixers for the Orlando Pro Summer League.  Motum only appeared in three game for the Sixers, averaging 2.7 points per game in approximately six minutes per contest.

Motum, a 6-foot-10 forward from Brisbane, Australia, averaged 18.7 points per game last season for the Cougars and was named to the all-conference second team. Motum scored 18.0 points per game during the 2011-2012 campaign, earning all-conference first team honors.
