Chiesa Records First UFC Loss

Spokane Valley native Michael Chiesa lost his first UFC fight to Jorge Masvidal on Saturday. Prior to the loss in Seattle, he was a perfect 9-0.

Chiesa lost in the second round by submission with only one second left. After a first round mostly controlled by Chiesa, Masvidal took over in the first part of the second and never looked back.

Chiesa is well-known in the UFC as the winner of the first Ultimate Fighter: Live.
