UPDATE: Fatal Car Crash In North Spokane

Spokane Police are investigating a fatal car crash that happened Sunday afternoon near Division and Queen. 

Police say a car was heading northbound on Division when it crossed the median, hit a car head-on, hit a pole and then came to rest at Division and Crown. Paramedics arrived on scene and began to give the driver of the causing vehicle CPR, but were unable to resuscitate him. His identity has not been released. No word on the condition of the driver who was hit head-on.

Witnesses told police they could not see anyone driving the car that caused the accident, leading police to believe the driver may have suffered some sort of medical episode. 

Investigators are now trying to piece together the crash and figure out exactly what happened.

The new program,"SpokaneScape",  gives homeowners the chance to earn a $500 credit on their utility bill by removing 300 square feet of grass in an effort to conserve water. Residents can add rocks, yard art, pathways and several other features to remove grass.
