Philadelphia Eagles Sign Ex-Coug Long

Travis Long was part of a difficult and challenging rebuilding process at Washington State.  He may face a similar experience with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The four-time all-conference selection has signed a free agent contract with Philadelphia.  The Spokane native registered 20.5 sacks in 47 games, and was an All-Pac-12 honorable mention last year.  He had 8.5 sacks as a senior before suffering a season-ending ACL injury.  He joins an Eagle squad that has undergone an extensive makeover this offseason under new head coach Chip Kelly.
