BOISE, Idaho -- The Spokane Indians used a 3-run 11th inning to beat the Boise Hawks in an extra inning thriller on Monday night, 5-2.

The rally started with an error by Hawks first baseman Cael Brockmeyer.  Cam Schiller and Janluis Castro then singled in back-to-back at-bats to plate Marcus Greene for the go-ahead run.  Northwest League All-Star center fielder Chris Garia extended the rally with a 2-run triple to score Schiller and Castro.  The Hawks were retired in order in the bottom of the 11th inning to secure the victory.

Spokane improves to 23-22 on the season and are 3-4 in the 2nd half standings, lodged in a 3-way tie with Tri-City and Vancouver.  The Indians wrap up the road series with Boise on Tuesday, and take on the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes in an SWX broadcast game Friday at 6:30 pm.
