Cougs Announce WSU Men's Basketball Schedule

PULLMAN, Wash. -- Another challenging schedule awaits Washington State in men's basketball, after fifth-year head coach Ken Bone announced the team's 2013-14 schedule on Wednesday.

Cougar fans can look forward to non-conference games against CSU Bakersfield, Lamar, Pepperdine, UTEP, and Mississippi Valley State in Pullman.  Absent from this year's slate is the Cougar Hardwood Classic.  That annual event, eight years in the making, will not be played this season due to scheduling conflicts with KeyArena, but it is expected to return in the future.

The Pac-12 will announce a completed conference schedule once the conference's flagship network selects its television broadcasts.  The completed schedule with dates, opponents, and times should be released in late August.

The Cougars will open the season with back-to-back home games against CSU Bakersfield (Nov. 8) and Lamar (Nov. 16).  They will then travel to face Gonzaga in Spokane on Thursday, Nov. 21st.

Below is the schedule released by WSU Athletics:
