UPDATE: Robbery Suspect Identified In THREE Bank Robberies: Have You Seen Him?


PRESS RELEASE FROM SPOKANE VALLEY POLICE DEPARTMENT

Spokane County Major Crimes Detectives have active arrest warrants for 41-year-old Scott Ruziecki for the robberies at the Banner Bank branch in Safeway in Hillyard on August 9, 2013, and the U.S. Bank branch on Argonne and Trent on August 13, 2013. Today there was another robbery shortly after 10:00 a.m. at the Banner Bank branch at Mission and Hamilton. There is probable cause for the arrest of Ruziecki for this robbery as well.

Through this investigation, investigators have learned Ruziecki is armed with a handgun and has made threats to shoot any law enforcement if confronted.

Sheriff Knezovich has issued a public safety warning to the community with regard to Ruziecki. Due to the fact Ruziecki stated he will shoot any law enforcement if confronted, and with information he is armed, Sheriff Knezovich strongly advises citizens to immediately call 911 if they see him and by no means attempt to make contact.

Spokane County and Spokane City investigator's have been exhausting all available recourses in an attempt to locate Ruziecki. Once again, if anyone in the community sees Ruziecki please call 911 immediately. Attached is a facebook photo of Ruziecki as well as surveillance video from today's robbery at Banner Bank.

Spokane County Major Crimes detectives have identified 40-year-old Scott Ruziecki as the suspect in two bank robberies this month, one at the Hillyard Safeway and the other at U.S. Bank at Trent and Argonne.  Attached is a facebook photograph of Ruziecki.  It is believed Ruziecki has dyed his hair in the last three days to a dark, possibly black color and has a short hair cut.  Ruziecki may be driving a black Honda, but more than likely is riding a bicycle.
 
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward to anyone providing information leading to the arrest of Ruziecki.  Persons with information should call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-222-TIPS, or should forward the tip via the Internet website www.crimestoppersinlandnorthwest.org.  Tipsters do not have to give their name to collect the cash reward.

The company said they purchased the glasses after receiving ISO compliance from the manufacturer, but later decided to issue the recall.
