Chiefs To Play Preseason Game in Cheney

The Spokane Chiefs have announced that their only home preseason game, scheduled for Wednesday, September 11, will be hosted at the University Recreation Center (URC) at Eastern Washington University in Cheney. The Chiefs will host the Tri-City Americans, with official game time slated for 7:05 p.m. Doors at the URC will open for fans at 6:05 p.m.

"The Spokane Chiefs are looking forward to the game and strengthening our relationship with EWU as well as expanding our fan base in the Cheney area," Chiefs GM Tim Speltz said. "The University Recreation Center at Eastern Washington University is a first class facility that will be a great venue to host a pre season game."

Tickets for the game will go on sale beginning Thursday, August 22nd, during the first day of the Chiefs Annual Fall Camp. They will be available through the Spokane Chiefs Ticket Office, located at the southeast corner of Spokane Arena, and on-site at the URC in Cheney.

Ticket packages for the 2013-14 season are currently on sale. The Chiefs will open the regular season on the road against Tri-City on Saturday, September 21 with Bud Light Opening Night taking place on Saturday, September 28 as they host the Americans.
