Man Held In Attack On Wash. Group Home Worker

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - A 24-year-old man accused of kidnapping an Olympia, Wash., group home worker at knifepoint and raping her has been ordered held on $100,000 bail.

The Olympian says (http://is.gd/IGCogE ) authorities allege in court documents that the man acknowledged the rape when he was arrested Sunday, saying he did it to humiliate the woman during a robbery of the group home where he formerly worked. Court papers also say he told officers he hoped to keep the woman from reporting the crime.

On Monday, a Thurston County judge ordered Colin McCullough held for investigation of rape, kidnapping, robbery and assault.

The woman told officers her attacker also punched, strangled and tied her up. She says she let him in when he knocked on the home's door early Sunday morning because he claimed he was there to get trained to work the graveyard shift.
